“As I researched the Shaker community, I was taken with the concept of vibration, of seeking paradise, revelation, community here on earth, …ideal symmetries, attention to detail, design inspired by nature. The images here are from Sylvan Series, an 8-year project of close and constant observation of a tributary of the Hudson River which runs near my home in the Hudson Valley.”
