CHALK SERIES
The images in this series were shot with an infrared camera in the High Arctic in 2017. They depict large piles of beluga whale bones, cleaned and sorted during whale hunts a century ago. The dozen or so heaps of bones sit along the perimeter of a secluded cove, Hvitfiskstranda, Svalbard, Norway. The cove is now a national heritage site.
The edition below is printed on Somerset Velvet paper, 17 x 22 inches each.
